The stock
Kodak Vision3 250D (5207 cine / 7207 16mm) is the daylight-balanced medium-speed ECN-2 motion-picture negative, "all the beauty of daylight." It carries Vision3's Sub-Micron Technology (2 stops extra highlight latitude) and Dye Layering (reduced grain and more detail in shadows). As a camera negative it is inherently low-contrast and wide-latitude, designed to be graded; the beloved "look" is that clean, gentle, filmic daylight rendering.

How it's built
Eterna gives the low-contrast rich-shadow cine foundation. — + Highlight —eproduce the 2-stop highlight latitude (soft roll-—, nothing blown). — keeps the clean, open, detailed shadows Vision3 is known for. Color —+ CCE — lift Eterna's flat saturation to a natural graded look with dimensional skin. Fine grain + — keep it clean and faithful.
vs the other cinema recipes
- Vision3 500T: the tungsten night/interior sibling. Cooler, higher ISO, moodier.
- 2383 Print: adds the theatrical print teal-orange grade on top of a negative-like base.
- 250D is the neutral daylight member, the cleanest, most natural of the three.
